Erika grew up in Fernie and loved being where the mountains provided endless adventure around every corner. She believes the people in this community showed her how to value an outdoor active lifestyle while balancing a work hard, play hard lifestyle. Her wood phone cases are a reflection of the shared love many of us have for spending time outdoors and making memories.
Erika took a keen interest in woodworking after taking it in high school, and knew she would someday return to working with wood. She had little time to take up woodworking during university and playing college hockey in Wisconsin, but after graduating and moving back to her hometown she has had more time to explore being an artist and hone the craft. These cases combine the skills of classic woodworking while using the modern technology of graphic designing and operating a laser machine. Everyday, she is inspired by the wilderness around us and tries to figure out how she can turn those beautiful outdoor moments into a phone case to carry in your pocket.
