Today we observe and reflect about the ongoing and historical role and tole that colonialism plays in our country. On a local level, we at the Coop want to acknowledge all artists in our community that identify as indigenous. Pat Moore is a Métis mixed- media painter who is not afraid of color and whose work is often playful, full of movement and story. She loves to paint flower motifs as they draw upon her indigenous roots.
